Daily Sketch: Being Used as a Fort

So this is a daily sketch of something that happened, but it was not done in real time as I visualized it, truly, upon awakening, when I really was being used as a fort. I’m not sure exactly which were who, but I know it was the boys and Bean was the one peering over my hip. Likely the one delivering the swat was Giuseppe, he’s like that.
I’ve always wanted to do these little cartoons that occur to me now and then, well, probably more often than now and then. There are a few ideas that are several years old, and I think I’ll start working them up.
I really, really like the technical pen I found, fun to sketch with, but I need to use a thicker pen for my hand-lettering, which is actually quite neat with a marker.

I luvluvluv this drawing..do more! This is exactly what it looks like and feels like to be the ‘fort’ for two or more cats! Great!
Thanks, Savannah–I giggled the entire time I drew it.
I feel like the other commenters, you do great cartoons! Made me laugh first thing in the morning, which is a rare occurrence indeed !
Carolyn, thanks! If it worked first thing then the sketch was clear enough, that’s what I was worried about. More ideas to come!
I believe you can consider this new venture a Success!! Cartoon is definitely Yours, but is, at the same time, Universal. Yeay!! xxx
Annie, thanks–I figured it was something anyone with more than one cat can relate to, and I’m glad I decided just to be brave and do it.
Hey, I really like this….try doing some more.
Allia, I’ll work on it!
