Daily Photo Reprise: No Seeds for Mousies or Catnip, 2013
Mr. Sunshine and Mimi inspect my seed collection as I organized for planting a large portion of my garden today. You may think cats would have no interest in planting seeds or gardening, and in part you are correct in thinking that. Their real motive is to supervise this human who regularly gets herself involved in activities that have no interest for kitties, and if they discover she is about to venture off on one of these meaningless activities it is the responsibility of the feline supervisor to gently correct her course of action.
Apparently by inspecting the seeds they found something critically wrong with her plans.
“None of this is any use to anyone,” Mimi said. “There are no seeds for mousies or even catnip. We think you should not bother with this.”
Unfortunately for them, I wasted an entire day anyway, but Mimi did get a bit of an outdoor visit.
