Daily Photo: Our Human’s Litterbox…

Mewsette helps to finish the job.

Our human’s litterbox has been having some problems, and when something of hers has problems she spends a lot of time trying to fix it, and says a lot of loud words. We weren’t too happy because one of our litterboxes is right beside hers in the bathroom, and we couldn’t use it a few times—there was water all over the floor! Then she was visiting the neighbor’s houses and we couldn’t figure that out at all.

You can see that Mewsette had to help our human’s litterbox take care of the problem. And more than once.

[Can you guess what she’s doing? She’s…air-burying. As if flushing wasn’t enough. Well, maybe for a fastidious kitty, it’s not. But quite often Mewsette would hop onto the closed lid and help me finish things up. You know when they put their whiskers forward and their ears back like that they are totally focused on their task. This began well before the recent issue, it’s just one of the unique things about Mewsette. And sometimes she got both paws going!]

She’s really at it now!

We own that bathroom, you know. We grew up in there. It’s our room. We like the green. We’re not so sure about this. So we had to snoopervise the whole thing.

And they didn’t just watch! The person who installed it told me as he was leaning over a few times he felt paws land on his back and some feline looking over his shoulder!

So, yes, between my car and my litterbox I’ve been a little overscheduled this week! Well, we’ll see how the “black and green compositions” turn out with my white litterbox instead of a green one. Last year I wasn’t sure if I would include these photos of Mewsette in the 2014 Compositions in Black and Green, but I decided to anyway—she’s in March doing her thing! Glad I got some photos before my litterbox had to retire, but I decided to use the green tank lid just for old time’s sake

Compositions in Black and Green 2014 and other calendars from The Creative Cat

The photo of Mewsette at the top was included in March in Compositions in Black and Green 2013, a calendar featuring the Fantastic Four and the Mama Mimi in the vintage mint green bathroom, just being their lovely selves. I published Compositions in Black and Green 2014 with all new photos, and it even includes Emeraude and Lakota! And I’ve reduced their price to $5.00 each until I sell out the last few!

Special Offer for Black Cat Adoptions

Now through 2014, I’ll send a copy of my Compositions in Black and Green 2014 calendar to anyone who rescues or adopts a black cat so that you can use it to keep track of all the wonderful things your house panther does. Or keep track of the house panther you’ve rescued so that you can keep track of veterinary records and send it along with the person who adopts the cat you’ve rescued.

Just email your rescue story to me, or a copy of your adoption contract—all personal information you don’t want to share eliminated of course—and a photo of your cat. I will keep all of your information completely private unless you want to share it with my readers.

If you’d like to to purchase a Compositions in Black and Green 2014 calendar as a gift or for yourself, visit my Etsy shop.

    • They’re so serious about this! I don’t let people in the house who wouldn’t be safe with them or wouldn’t want them around so it’s always good for a laugh.
