Cats for Adoption: Zorro is Looking for An Adventure!

Wow, a whole new room!
Wow, a whole new room!

Zorro! Yes, my name is Zorro even though I’m a girl! I wear the mask and outfox my siblings all the time! Below, I think my brother Crayola is in for a big surprise if I can figure out how to turn on this faucet!

Let's turn this thing on and soak my brother tee hee!

I love to wrestle with my brothers and sister, and play with toys, and climb things and explore every nook and cranny of our little room.

Do you see that spot on my chin? I LOVE when you scratch it! You could do that all day!

And do you see the little black spot on my chest? You can rub that one all day too!

Zorro being sweet.

And I’ll stre-e-e-e-e-tch myself out so you can see ALL the white on my belly!

Don't you love Zorro's belly?

I know just how to turn on the cuteness to make you stop everything and love me.

I'm even cuter close up!

And I’m always ready to play like crazy!

I'm crazy in the sink!

I do really cool things with my tail and you never know what I’m up to!

And when the human comes in and sits down on the floor, I’m the first one in her lap and defend it from all my siblings. If you don’t believe me, here’s a little move I starred in just last week! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkDV6v05BLE, or watch it here!

You know you want to adopt me!

I'm so cute!

Zorro is the last of Charm’s kittens who have not been adopted! We need to get her a home! She’s located (in my bathroom) in the Pittsburgh area and available through Pittsburgh CAT. If you’re interested in sharing your life with Zorro, fill out an application today!

. . . . . . .

We are overloaded with cute little kittens, but don’t forget the older kittens and adults!

Cool!
Cool!

Zorro’s mom Charm is available too! She’s been spayed and tested for FIV/FeLV and is up to date on all vaccines, and she’s one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. I’ll be featuring her this week too! She is also located (in my bathroom) in the Pittsburgh area and available through Pittsburgh CAT. If you’re interested in sharing your life with Charm, fill out an application today!

. . . . . . .

We have lots of kittens!

Five kittens from one place.
Five kittens from one place.

Kittens, kittens, kittens, cute but TOO MANY KITTENS!! Please spay and neuter your cats! On Saturday I took Charm and two cats from Carnegie to an overflow Homeless Cat Management Team TNR clinic–overflow from the weekend before when over 100 cats and kittens were spayed, neutered, tested, vaccinated.

Four kittens from another place.
Four kittens from another place.

45 cats and about 30 kittens are here for service and headed off to foster homes and release to caretakers today. Many if not most cats and kittens living outside without an owner or caretaker were abandoned by people who just didn’t take responsibility.

Five more kittens from yet another place!

Please help others in your community learn about the importance of spaying or neutering cats–and dogs–and tell them about low-cost clinics in your area. Then we can all enjoy kittens again.

Amazon Wish Lists

The Amazon Wish List for our group’s foster kittens.

Many rescuers pay out of pocket for veterinary care and food but the costs of raising even the average litter of four healthy kittens is more than many people have, and many rescues have greater needs. Pittsburgh CAT has a number of wish lists that include foods for feeding neo-natal kittens like KMR, and other lists that include the best kitten foods, adult cat foods, food and materials for feral cats, and preferred toys and litter.

Can’t adopt? Foster! Can’t foster? Donate or volunteer.

There are so many ways you can help cats who need homes and care. You may not have room to adopt another cat, but can foster a cat or kitten for a few weeks. If not that, you can volunteer at a shelter or with a rescue, or donate. You do this because you love your cat, and by doing so you help all cats. No matter which of these actions you take, you help to save a life, and make life better for all cats.

  • Adopt one of the cats I’ve posted here, or from any shelter or rescue near you, or from Petfinder, to open up a space for another cat to be rescued and fostered.
  • Offer to foster cats or kittens for a shelter or rescue near you.
  • Volunteer at a shelter or rescue.
  • Find a group of volunteers who work with homeless cats and help them with their efforts.
  • Donate to a shelter or rescue near you.

If you can foster kittens or adults cats to help prepare them for a forever home, please run to your nearest shelter and find a cat who needs you! Anyone can help with this effort at any level, even if all you do is donate to a shelter or rescue so they can help to pay for the food or medications needed for their foster, or the spay/neuter/veterinary care during a clinic.

  • Such cuties- I want them all. For some reason my hubby thinks 15 cats is enough though 🙂

    • Pilch92, I am so glad PittsburghCAT is so good at finding homes or I’d be sunk! I remember having 15 cats…and no one around to tell me “no more”. It’s tempting, but I love to foster and that’s what saves me from filling every room
