Beans
Unlike the lettuce, which Mewsette happily eats whenever I have a salad, and the broccoli, which she nibbles, and the cherries, which made Mewsette ponder life, Mewsette couldn’t decide what the beans were for. She really wasn’t interested in eating them, but she did like to smell them, and she followed along and smelled them even after I’d rinsed them and packed them in to containers for the refrigerator. I agree, there is nothing like vegetables fresh from the garden.
I did have a kitty who loved beans, my torbie Fawn, and thought it was cute when she stole them from the basket and ate them up, until, being undigestible by a cat, they were not digested and came back out in a rather painful way. I was concerned for her but she came out of it tired and sore at both ends. For that and other mishaps with vegetables, I keep them under control.
Mewsette, so far, has shown good sense. But then, that’s what she’s like all the time.

Mewsette is so very brave to tackle the Odd Green Things that humans love so much. Impressive! I like to pretend the little popcorns are baby mice. Fun to pounce on and very crunchy. Not as yummy as baby mice, however, but good practice. She should give it a try.
We just met the Spitfire Sisters! What fun!
Mewsette does agree about the popcorn–and potato chips, pretzels and chick peas!
They could make nice toys. But my humans doesn’t like me to play with the food if I don’t eat it :-/
Mewsette is so cute!
Purrs
Texas, we know our mom always has her mind on other things so we can get away with just about anything, most of the time, especially if we’re cute, then we get on the internets.
Mewsette is as sweet as she looks.
