We Win the ABC Award

awesome blog conent award
Our ABC Award.

That stands for “Awesome Blog Content”, and it was awarded by Mark Wallis of The Vibes. Stop over and visit his cool and colorful travels through music, art and society in Manchester, England, and especially read about Sparky and other cats who have shared his life.

Now the fun begins: describe myself alphabetically using a word beginning with each letter of the alphabet. I’m going to include my feline partners in this and fill it out with favorite colors and foods!

Now for the part I am always uncomfortable about in this award practice: name six blogs who win the award. First, how could I limit it to six? Second, how could I explain to the ones who are not on the list?

I’m going to take the chicken way out. See that list on the right? It’s pretty well up to date. Choose any one there and visit them!

From health and welfare to rescue and adoption stories, advocacy and art, factual articles and fictional stories, "The Creative Cat" offers both visual and verbal education and entertainment about cats for people who love cats, pets and animals of all species.

  • Congratulations! I love the words you chose 🙂 I must go and check out Manchester guy as he’s not too far from where I live!

PS my hair is naturally completely white and have had it uncoloured at times. Makes me look and feel like my mother lol

    • He has some very interesting travels around the area, and lovely photos and images.

I had lovely white streaks in my hair for years, right in the middle of my forehead and “wings” over my ears. My brother called me “Morticia”. But aside from discovering I don’t look good in gray, I also discovered I love the color of henna! I get compliments all the time, and you can’t miss me at an outdoor festival.

Congratulations, Bernadette! That’s a great logo, too, for the award. And hey, I thought that was your natural hair color. That vibrant red is so *you*! Maybe you just get a little help from the henna?

    • Susan, I like that logo too, but I can’t take credit for it. Love to take a photo like that!

Actually, my hair gets more than a little help from the henna–I am more than 50% gray, it began quickly when I was about 39 as a result of hypothyroidism and changed faster than I could adjust. I tried hair color–nasty stuff, expensive if you have a lot of hair and animals suffer in the manufacture of it–and I remembered henna from years before, $2.00 at the Indian grocery and totally nontoxic. That’s my secret!
