This Week’s Feline Activities on Facebook

three black cats
The three juvenile delinquents looking for trouble, G. Verdi, J. Bean and M. Sunshine.

A roundup of this week’s feline updates on Facebook in no particular order…thanks to my felines for providing inspiration every moment of every day.

I was just forced to share my cheesecake with Kelly and Giuseppe. I’ll just say they got their licks in.

………………………

Wheels were not added to desk chairs to make office work more effectively done, they were added so that you wouldn’t have to disturb the cat on your lap when you had to get something from across the room.

………………………

Mimi and I had a slow start, but I am now absolutely certain she loves and trusts me when she follows me around and hides under my chair during a thunderstorm instead disappearing into the basement. But my tough girl isn’t scared, of course!

………………………

Mimi has been my studio cat for the past several days, preceding me into the room and settling right next to my keyboard or next to my work on my drawing table. For most of the past 20 years Cookie played this role; I think Mimi knows that.

………………………

There are times when I wish all my kitties weren’t so dark…I just witnessed the sweetest sleepy wake-up cuddle-bath wrestling match between Bean and Giuseppe, and there was just not enough light to get more than a blurry dark shape.

………………………

Look out for the juvenile delinquents, otherwise known as My Three Sons, wandering the ‘hood looking for trouble, picking up a little ‘nip whenever it presents itself in the form of an enticing toy.

………………………

Oh, I’m sticking little bright magenta Post-it style sign-here arrows all over Jelly Bean just for fun and laughing hysterically at his horrified reaction, it’s been one of those kinds of days.

………………………

Nutty weather for June–after a warm sunny morning causing ALL the cats to run around like fools, all are now curled in cozy little balls here and there, Kelly kindly keeping my lap warm.

………………………

Giuseppe was happy to awaken me this morning with a paw on my nose, but no luck in getting him to make my coffee.

………………………

One of my goals with this new site is to find ways to share Facebook content with those who are not on Facebook. I’ll also round up links to stories I’ve shared and include them in another post. If you’re on Facebook, find me at Portraits of Animals.

I named my latest adoptee my Siamese/Tortie mix”Cheesecake” after my favorite dessert. True to her name she has a sweet tooth!
