This Week’s Feline Activities on Facebook
All five wait for their post-exam treats; I wasn’t aware this was a tradition.
A roundup of, well, two weeks of feline updates on Facebook in no particular order…thanks to my felines for providing inspiration every moment of every day.
………………….
Mimi is proving that both she and the cordless keyboard can peacefully co-exist on my lap without either one landing on the floor. About my ability to type…
………………….
A dozen houses on my street, including mine, were without electricity all afternoon after a teeny branch fell and hit a connection in the lines…took my own advice and went outside, enjoyed the wildlife, including the kids just home from school with no electricity to tie them down!
………………….
Mimi on my shoulder makes me happy, and her too.
………………….
Whole house exam, we are diagnosed with five excessively healthy, friendly black cats.
………………….
Mewsette is thoroughly enjoying a pizza crust. Another addition for the list of approved snacks.
………………….
Oh, my goodness, the box nearly swallowed Mimi alive! She was nearly lost in the packing peanuts!
………………….
Mimi and I finally had the chance to spend some time together without the kids.
………………….
I can hear a catnip toy being mauled at the top of the steps–it’s Giuseppe, and he’s singing about it too!
………………….
I’m so glad to see Jelly Bean finally caught and subdued the tail he’d been aggressively chasing in the tub this morning.
………………….
Look, you guys, my lap is finite, and it’s not nice to shove your mother off to make room for yourselves.

I like to share my Facebook content with those who are not on Facebook. I’ll also round up links to stories I’ve shared and include them in another post. If you’re on Facebook, find me at Portraits of Animals.

What an amazing photo! It has to be rare to get all five looking in the same direction!
Ingrid, a fair portion of my hard drive is full of my attempts to do just that! Now that I’ve found the spot they naturally gather like this, I can set up my tripod and not have to wave the treats in one hand and try to handle my big heavy DSLR in the other.
