This Week’s Feline Activities on Facebook

We missed a couple of weeks, but we’re still here.

Desk is covered with black cats today. What to do?

Apparently Giuseppe Basil Verdi had a nip of the basil for my soup this afternoon in order to freshen up in anticipation of a billet doux from his emerald-eyed amour, Mlle. Daisy Emerald Marguerite, arriving on the magic message machine.

How many times a day do I say to a cat, “You make a better door than a window?”

For just a moment, I had four black cats piled on my lap, the boys with Mimi trying to balance on top. I am not working, I am really a cat bed trying to reach my computer keyboard. No chance for a photo.

Apparently I was mistaken about the purpose of the mouse pad because it fits Mimi perfectly.

It’s henna day, and yes, I do have dark red goop on my hair, and a blue plastic bag, and a mauve turban, but I am still your human though you may wonder at my ability to care for you if I do this to myself.

Just trying to stay with last week for a while today before the day starts, remembering all the years at this desk with Kelly, while all five black cats (seriously get in my face) are all around me, comforting.

Okay, Mr. Sunshine and Giuseppe are bathing each other on my lap and I can am pretty much out of commission as far as working. Think it’s time for a break!

Mewsette and a basket of green and yellow beans fresh from the garden are definitely the stars today.

Mewsette just gave a big fluffy greeting to a customer, keeping him occupied with pets and purrs while I took care of something for him on my computer. Too bad, boys, you lost this one!

Everything is dripping, birds are chirping, Mimi has raced out of the basement to stand on my keyboard shelf and look at me with big round eyes. Storm is over!

Jelly Bean is getting a bath from Giuseppe whether he wants it or not, and I’m thinking he really doesn’t.

I’ve discovered a few of the kids have a taste for…cobwebs. Okay, I’m admitting I have a few cobwebs, but I caught Mewsette snacking on the ones up by the ceiling above her shelf, and Giuseppe made sure I noticed him poking his face up behind the bathroom mirror to grab a few. Guess I should thank them.
