The air was fairly crackling as the boys did not stare at each other, instead thinking nasty thoughts about each other while the considered their next move.
I hate you.
You’re ugly.
Die, scum.
Your mama…oops.
(They have the same mama, and she’s off limits).
The next move turned out to be “aggressive bathing”.

Looks like a scene from one of the old western movies before the big shootout – except the to the best of my knowledge the cowboys never engaged in aggressive bathing.
That’s adorable! My cats do the same, annoying each other and see how far they can go. Then the bomb explodes and Suki starts hissing. Then Hiro begins the agressive bathing, complete with love bites.
