Kelly, My Studio Supervisor

tortoiseshell cat behind computer monitor
Kelly supervises me as I work.

From this angle, Kelly can see the entire studio so she can watch everything I do. And when she gets bored with me she can look out the window and watch the birds in the trees.

But tell me, could you work with that little face watching you? Those big round green eyes and big rounded ears? I try not to laugh but she’s so cute I can’t help it, and I don’t always get much done. It’s all Kelly’s fault.

  • Mom says she could never keep on working when my OTRB sister Tasha looked like that at her…she always scooped her up and had snuggles with her

    • Savannah, I’m not too sure about being scooped up and snuggling, even after all these years it still makes me scared! But sometimes it’s okay.

  • Those quirky goldenish eyebrows give her such a quizzical look! She is so adorable (not that I’m biased for torties!)

    • Cynthia, that’s what really makes those “round eyes” special, her little eyebrows, and you can’t see here for the lighting but she has a white dot on the inside curve of each nostril. She’s really a joy to look at!

    • Ingrid, sometimes she’s more than I can take. I took 17 photos of her and then had to leave the room until she laid down for a nap. I was totally distracted.
