July Catnip Chronicles

Peaches is ready.

It’s time for a new issue of Catnip Chronicles! Visit the Catnip Chronicles site and read the June issue for articles and stories for and about feline health and lifestyle and photos of lovely cats. Often one of my stories appears there, but this month features Karen Sable’s recent article “Are Your Pets Prepared for an Emergency?”.

This month includes many stories from feline rescuers and caretakers, some of my favorite types of stories from people out there on the streets trying to do their best by the cats they find, including two women who finally caught the cat with the plastic jar on his head in Heroes Free Cat With Head Trapped in Jar for 6 Days by Sarah Loeb.

On the health front, Dr. Karen Becker discusses how a raw diet isn’t just raw meat, When Raw Food is NOT the Right Food for Your Pet , and Ingrid King gives us a checklist for a feline home mini-exam in How to perform a home health check for your cat.

That’s only a small portion—take your time and enjoy the read! You can subscribe to receive Catnip Chronicles in your e-mail every month, and also connect with Facebook.
