Daily Photo: From the Pet Expo

My full display.
My full display.

I wanted to get to this on Sunday or Monday but with unpacking from this one and getting ready for the HCMT Spaghetti Dinner this coming weekend I just couldn’t seem to get to it! But here are photos of my display from the Pet Expo that I shared on Facebook, and you can see all my merchandise to date. The business in the space next to me didn’t show up so I had the chance to expand, and for that I was glad because one of my newest products, my Feline Gift Bags, really didn’t show up well packed into a tiny spot on a table. When the doors to the building were opened my art walls blew down more than once and broke the glass on two small paintings, but the big ones were fine. I got to see so many wonderful people and handed out a lot of portrait brochures, as well as talking to other rescues.

I was thrilled to debut three new products: Feline Gift Bags with art and photos, hand-painted trinket dishes and Feline Silhouettes photo frames—you’ll see more of these later. Below is a gallery of individual photos of my area.

On Sunday there was a Pet Parade Costume Contest. “The Crazy Cat Ladies “, winners! Smudge is an 8-year-old rescue kitty who also wins awards in the Household Pet Category at local cat shows. She loves her stroller, and dressing up and showing off. The glasses really got me–I thought for sure she’d swat them off!

When it was all over I was happy to be home, and to sit down with Mimi on my lap!

When “slipping into something more comfortable” means putting on the old flowered housecoat you made your mother 27 years ago and settling down with at least one kitty on your lap. A long weekend on my feet following a long week on my feet. I’m going to work on sitting now, and unpack the car tomorrow.

Glad to be back with Mimi.

Mimi is never so happy as when she’s out in the yard, as you can see by her “happy tail”. She’s so short that I can’t get a good photo of her face without flowers in the way, but perhaps that’s how she wants it. This photo is available framed or unframed, on canvas or on paper or as a greeting card on Portraits of Animals. You can purchase it below or find this photo in my gallery of Feline Photos.
