Mewsette and Mr. Sunshine give me “the look” that says there are things I need to see, Giuseppe concentrates on it all. I love the blue door and the black fur, and those round, excited eyes.
This is the other Big Screen Cat TV. The basement door opens to the yard, and any time of the day there is plenty going on out there—bunnies of all sizes and ages, birds landing and taking off, small rodents running back and forth as they carry out their daily business, and lots of sounds and smells to make it very realistic. I also did a sketch of Mewsette at the door over the weekend.
I even enjoy looking out this door; in fact, I initially installed the door with the window in it for me because there is no other view of the outdoors from my basement except a glass blog window, and I couldn’t stand to be down there. When the door is closed we can all still see out the window, like on winter mornings when I ride my exercise bike. Cats of all eras have come running when they hear me turn the doorknob, and a few of them will spend all day watching nature and napping.
