Daily Sketch: Three Cats Afternoon

colored pencil sketch of three cats
"Three Cats Afternoon", purple colored pencil, 7" x 8" © B.E. Kazmarski

Boys were hanging out in the middle of the kitchen during the afternoon waiting for dinner, trying their best to look pitiful and make me feel guilty. I did a sketch instead.

It’s Giuseppe, Jelly Bean and Mr. Sunshine.

  • Cats can do the pathetic I’m-absolutely-starving-no-one-cares-for-me look so awfully well! They even do skinny on demand! 🙂 Love that look on the face!

    • Carolyn, that’s exactly what’s going on! I accidentally posted this without some of my text and didn’t notice until this morning, but it covers those very issues. Normally they move around too much and too fast, but they were intentionally holding still so I could catch them in all their manipulative glory!
