Well, they nap a lot, especially in a pile, especially on my desk. I had actually intended to do a little more with this but the phone rang, they got up and the day went on. No worry, there will be another day for Giuseppe, Mewsette and Jelly Bean to pose for a quick portrait.
. . . . . . .
I haven’t done a single sketch since last week, too unfocused, and focus is what I need most to do a quick sketch that captures what you are accustomed to seeing. I didn’t even take the time to post reprise sketches either, so now we can catch up on a few days of sketches all in one post.
I debated which one to begin with and feature, and I just didn’t know, I like them all, and even just now I changed my mind! I like the colors in “Cat With Laundry”, especially since I was also working on developing that style at that time, but I love the energy of “Studio Wrestling” and the simplicity of “Another Nap”. So I’m going to go and reorganize them them now, and hopefully let it go and post very soon.
In a house with cats, where there is laundry, there is at least one cat. Jelly Bean was the lucky winner of the laundry pile this time.
This is one I’d like to work with, flatten out the garments so they have no patterns and probably use different colors, but leave Bean the same, just a simple, colorful little sketch.
