Now really, you wouldn’t notice a big red kitty in a blue box full of white mail, would you? Mewsette was playing games with me but white envelopes and a collapsing cardboard box don’t lend much camouflage for a big black kitty. Her “virtual” color is red and shades of red because she had the red paint on her ear, and it’s still the color I visualize her in most often in my sketches of her.
I also didn’t realize until I’d scanned this that it’s kind of red, white and blue, kind of like the US Postal Service. Just so she doesn’t go postal on me.
