Daily Sketch: Looking Out the Door
Jelly Bean enjoys the view out the door. I have always liked the graceful way a cat can seem like a swirling, curling juggernaut just by sitting up, all curves and roundness, even slender and angular cats as the neck curves and the tail wraps.
This one was particularly difficult to both scan and photograph, and took me a little extra time.

I see…peaceful from this. Watching the world go by not a care at all. Would be kind of nice, wouldn’t it?
Linda, sometimes they are watching the birds or squirrels or chipmunks, or even a neighbor cat, but usually it’s just that, a nice quiet time to let the world turn without them. Sometimes I go and stand near them or even sit if there’s room, and look out the door with them.
That sketch reminds me of my own cat Suki. Really cute!
Dianda, there is something universal in feline qualities.
BTW, I’m so glad Hiro is back and on the mend! It’s hard not to panic.
