Daily Sketch: Lady in Red

Mimi does a sideways bend to wash her hip—yes, it was as confusing as it looked! I laid down the red shape first in watercolor, quickly dried it with my blow dryer, then came back and sketched Mimi, who was still involved in her bath.

  • Confusing? Obviously I’ve spent too many years with cats not to recognize THAT pose instantly. I see Angus and Donal like that EVERY day (they are just BIGGER their petite Mama Mimi).
