Daily Sketch: Lady in Red

Mimi does a sideways bend to wash her hip—yes, it was as confusing as it looked! I laid down the red shape first in watercolor, quickly dried it with my blow dryer, then came back and sketched Mimi, who was still involved in her bath.

    Confusing? Obviously I’ve spent too many years with cats not to recognize THAT pose instantly. I see Angus and Donal like that EVERY day (they are just BIGGER their petite Mama Mimi).
