Daily Sketch: Do You Have to Do That Right Here?
Mr. Sunshine looks less than thrilled to have his sister cleaning you-know-where right next to him. I’m sure it’s something else he’s miffed about, but Mewsette did just hop up next to him, plop down and throw her leg in the air and start washing. I know how I feel when she does that.
Charcoal pencil with a little pastel…I was in the mood for a bit of color, but no marker or watercolor. Starting to be influenced by spring again, I think.
What was I sketching last year on this date?
Well, not quite on my arm…read more about this sketch.

Mewsette is a pink housepanther! 😉
Vicki, she is!
LOVE that look of Mr. Sunshine!
Mr. Sunshine has the best looks, but his siblings ignore him.
Oh dear, what sisters won’t do to annoy their brothers 🙂
Susan, usually it’s the other way around!
Mr. Sunshine, we love your name. And Mewsette, that was rather rude of you to do. Guess you expected Mr. Sunshine to move away. He is just going to give you dirty looks. Take care.
Marg, we all know that brothers are good at dirty looks!
LOL Great expression!
Carolyn, I think he was more upset about her taking attention away from his attempted manipulation of me–a much more serious infraction than just a personal bath!
Hilarious! You really get inside your kitties’ heads.
Reminds me of the time I was visiting an older lady, a family friend, who was nothing if not proper. When her “granddog” did the same maneuver the lady looked at him askance and said dryly, “Please take your toilette somewhere else.”
Yes, cats are famous getting into the middle of things and giving themselves a good cleaning–and I love their expressions when you ask them to move elsewhere!
“Ask”? A cat? To do something?
Shirley you jest. . . .
😉
His name is not Shirley. 🙂
Tooshay!
