Daily Sketch: Alert
This wasn’t what I started out to do, but it’s what came of studying Giuseppe sitting in silhouette at the top of the stairs, just taking in the day. I’m not sure why I filled his shape in with black when I had intended another color entirely, I just found myself filling him in and realized what I was doing. I would guess I was more intent than I thought on the silhouette shape than the outline of his shape. Interesting when that happens. Last year (below) I could blame the change in idea on Mr. Sunshine.
