Daily Photo: Treats for Three

black cats getting treats
Treats for three, please!

The last time Dr. Michelle came over she had some treats for the kids to try, and the boys were more than happy to be part of the experiment. I had a chance to photograph them getting treats from someone else rather than trying to give treats and photograph at the same time.

They are very polite, as long as I am equal, and quick, about handouts, but I’ve always had to place them right in each cat’s mouth or another will steal it. Don’t worry, they do not bite. Above is one photo of three black cats being very good in the face of free food, and below is a tiled gallery of a few other photos of the event. Mimi did get a treat or two, as did everyone else eventually.

. . . . . . .

What other photos have I shared on or around this date?

How It Is With Cats, 2013

Deb gets a taste of cats.

Deb Chebatoris of Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation stopped to discuss a project we are working on and was given just a wee taste of how cats supervise their humans at work. Mimi started out by approving the pen with her nose, making marks run all over the page, then Deb’s hand, which incapacitated Deb for any thought of writing. The next logical development for a cat is to step on the paper, of course, and Mimi delicately stepped her petite paws one by one precisely where Deb was writing, then settled atop her paws and wrapped her tail around everything, and refused to move.

Deb lives with two rescued schnauzers, and I asked her if dogs had any equivalent action. She sad no. I guess Mimi decided Deb needed a lesson on cats and cats and paper.
