Daily Photo Reprise: My Kitchen Assistant, 2010
I don’t know where he got the crumbs on his head, but Mr. Sunshine wore them proudly all afternoon.
“I helped mom. You didn’t.” Everyone ignored him.
I keep a sturdy stool next to the sink where I work so that curious kitties can watch the process without, theoretically, jumping up on the counter and into the big bowl of stuffing. Mr. Sunshine, known for his adventures, managed to stay out of trouble on Christmas Day.
But at the last minute he decided to make a face at me. I expected to see him stick out his tongue. He’s a silly guy.

Mr. Sunshine is very aptly named! His expression with the crumbs on his head is so delightfully whimsical! The look he wears with the basket around his neck is similar……”So, what are you looking at?”. I can’t get enough of his head tilts and am delighted to see that there are a few of my favorite head tilt pictures in your calendar in black and green. What a silly boy and such a cutie pie!
Susan, Mr. Sunshine has been a charmer since he was a tiny baby kitty! He rated for two head tilts in there plus smaller ones. In March, where he’s “asking for ID”, the first tiny thumbnail on the calendar page is from when he was about four weeks old, sitting on the edge of the tub tilting his head way to the side to see me around the doorframe! He hasn’t stopped since.
