Are you going to turn our faucet on? Look at poor Jelly Bean, he’s desperate for even just one single drop.
All of you just had drinks at your fountain in the kitchen.
We’ve been waiting all day in here.
You just had breakfast.
Just one more drink from the faucet for old time’s sake?
You guys just play games with me, you ask me to turn it on and then when I do you leave.
We had waited so long we aren’t thirsty anymore.
That’s not the way “thirsty” works.
We think you like Mewsette better than you like us.
What does Mewsette have to do with this.
You always turn on the water when she asks.
Because she only asks once in a while, and she always has a drink.
You girls really stick together, don’t you?
You boys do.
Perhaps our needs aren’t as important to you any more.
Perhaps you need to shut up so that I can get a good photo of you, and eventually you can earn your living through it like Mr. Sunshine.
Certainly you don’t think I’m imitating my brother, do you?

Now through 2014, I’ll send a copy of my Compositions in Black and Green 2014 calendar to anyone who rescues or adopts a black cat so that you can use it to keep track of all the wonderful things your house panther does. Or keep track of the house panther you’ve rescued so that you can keep track of veterinary records and send it along with the person who adopts the cat you’ve rescued.
Just email your rescue story to me, or a copy of your adoption contract—all personal information you don’t want to share eliminated of course—and a photo of your cat. I will keep all of your information completely private unless you want to share it with my readers.
