Daily Photo: Repeating Cats
I had another photo for today, but this development came up late in the afternoon. They are repeating because they look like parentheses and two are in the same shape, plus they repeat this activity all the time…another day, another cat pile. There are only four of them here—Bean was excited to have the chair in my studio all to himself, but Giuseppe and Mewsette are face to face and paw to paw to make a nice soft warm bed for their mom, and Mr. Sunshine offers support over on the right. Glad I didn’t have any papers I desperately needed to see underneath them…I could not have brought myself to make them move.

When I received my mail today I had a soft package. Confused—I hadn’t ordered anything, I checked the sender on the label, but I didn’t know her. But this is what she sent, modeled by Mewsette!
“I saw this and immediately knew you had to have it. Just a little thank you for all you do for cats everywhere!”
Thank YOU! We love it! It’s very inspiring too…it’s been a while since I’ve made pillows, but I love the design too.
And you’re right, they are magical. Here are Mewsette and Mr. Sunshine modeling the pillow…until they decided to do the “I’ll wash your back if you’ll wash mine” thing, which is why it’s a little blurry.

Annie, it was so exciting! That never happens. And Mimi always uses her kids as a warm soft cat bed–she would tell you that’s what grown children are good for!
