Mr. Sunshine is completely focused on...something.
I love it when they are staring intently at something, all those whiskers fanned forward, whisker pads fluffed, noses squared, ears alert, eyes, round and focused, I’d love to sketch him but grabbed my camera instead.
Then turned to look at what had held his attention through all my shuffling down here on the desk—no wonder, I’d be curious about a dove with glowing orange feet too! Is it a magic dove? Does Mr. Sunshine sense something special about the dove?
Likely, it’s just the sun shining in just the right spot, but Mr. Sunshine and I agreed it’s very pretty.

Carolyn, it was a few moments of admiring him before I suddenly decided I’d better photograph him! I was intent as well.
the background and his eyes are really marvelous.
That’s what got me started–and only hoping I could get a clear shot in dim light with backlighting, but it worked because he was as still as a rock.
