Daily Photo: Imitation is…

black cat on green sink.
I am not imitating my brother. I would never do that.

Giuseppe tries a “Mr. Sunshine” move since it gets his brother so much attention…

Are you going to turn our faucet on? Look at poor Jelly Bean, he’s desperate for even just one single drop.

All of you just had drinks at your fountain in the kitchen.

We’ve been waiting all day in here.

You just had breakfast.

Just one more drink from the faucet for old time’s sake?

You guys just play games with me, you ask me to turn it on and then when I do you leave.

We had waited so long we aren’t thirsty anymore.

That’s not the way “thirsty” works.

We think you like Mewsette better than you like us.

What does Mewsette have to do with this.

You always turn on the water when she asks.

Because she only asks once in a while, and she always has a drink.

You girls really stick together, don’t you?

You boys do.

Giuseppe gives me a piece of his mind.

Perhaps our needs aren’t as important to you any more.

Perhaps you need to shut up so that I can get a good photo of you, and eventually you can earn your living through it like Mr. Sunshine.

Certainly you don’t think I’m imitating my brother, do you?

No, Giuseppe, you are totally unique, and no one would ever mistake you for your brother.

Are you done with that black thing now? Can you turn on the water.

Since you asked so nicely…

. . . . . . .

Oh, Savvy, I won’t let Mlle. Daisy know, but Giuseppe is very complimented to know a certain demure lady noticed him!

Giuseppe has just enough self-doubt that he’s just not sure he’ll get his way. Mr. Sunshine, no such thing.

    I love this line:

“That’s not the way “thirsty” works.”

You are lucky to live where you have oodles of water. Out here in dry California, we ration our kitty drips.

I didn’t know you were in California! I have a friend who lives in Corona and said her water bill is by far the biggest of all.

Just be thankful none of them have figured out how to flush the toilet! Danny knows someone who got an ENORMOUS water bill and assumed there must be a leak in the line…. Nope!! The cats had learned how to flush and would watch the water swirl away. Then, once the tank refilled, they’d do it again (and again…).

There was a video to that effect! I keep an eye on Mr. Sunshine if he’s excessively interested in anything…
